Boyd Bears and Daffodil's
In 2005 when Brentney and I found out she had cancer, we had a road to travel that we really had no idea where it was gonna lead. Several years ago Englefield Oil Company (Bretney and I both work there) started participating in the "Relay for Life" a 24 hour walk to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Three years ago they came out with the Boyd Bear and Daffodil's as part of a fundraiser. Here are a couple pictures of my flowers this year and the 3 bears they released.
These are the Daffodil's that we received this year. They are so beautiful, they look fake but they really are not.

As we grow...
As we grow is one of my favorite written pieces. Here it is for you.
As we grow up, we learn that even the one person
that wasn't supposed to ever let you down
probably will. You will have your heart broken
probably more than once and it's harder every
time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it
felt when yours was broken. You'll fight with your
best friend. You'll blame a new love for things an
old one did. You'll cry because time is passing
too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you
love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much,
and love like you've never been hurt because
every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute
of happiness you'll never get back.
Great words to live by... Maybe some day I myself will be able to follow them.

Goodbye Precious =(
Well Barb and Steve had to put Precious their black lab down today. =( She was a good dog and we all will miss her bad, well maybe not my mother because I don't think the woman has a kind bone in her body to miss anything ~ but the rest of us will that's for sure. I will try to find some pictures of her so I can load them here.
Welcom to my blog =)
Hello, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Sandra and I have created this blog to keep what little bit of my sanity I have left.
I was born in France (yes I said France) because my dad was in the Air Force. I have lived in several places like Maryland, North Dakota, and where I am now and that is Ohio. Of all the places in the world to end up at, we end in Ohio bleh. I really, really, really hate snow and most of all I hate being cold. I keep telling myself that one day I'm gonna load up what little belongings I have and move to Nevada or somewhere that is warmer then Ohio.
My dad and mom are Gerald and Patricia and I know that I don't tell them enough (well hardly ever really) how much they mean to me. Without my parents, raising my daughter Bretney would have been ruff. Bretney's dad didn't stay around long when he found out I was pregnant and a single salary to raise a child well.....SUCKS!!. December 24, 2008 my parents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
I have one sister Barb (Barbara of course) who is married to Steve and together they have two children Courtney and Nathan and a Black Lab named Precious. Courtney is a first grade teacher and June, 2008 she married her dream man Matt. Nathan is a security guard at the Columbus Airport.
Bretney is my daughter and is my life. This monster has kept me on the run from day one. Spoiled? ummmm yes she is but what do you expect when your the only child. Unfortunately their can't be any more because medical problems took any more chances away from me.
